Can I ever escape the flamers?

Hi Guys,

Currently in silver 2, trying to climb into gold by the end of the season. And I feel like every other game I play I have a teammate who flames everyone else literally all game. I understand that this is a thing that happens, but here's my question: Are there less flamers higher up? I know gold might not be the flame-free haven I want to be, but is there a point where you stop running into flamers? Not completely, but at least a negligible amount of games?
