How do you play against Tryndamere?

He gets free crits, and can easily outtrade enemies. Sustain with his Q. Is pretty much ungankable with W, E, AND R. Is a very good at pushing lanes with E and Statikk Shiv. I know that if you ignite him a few seconds after he ults, its usually a kill, but don't most Trynds Q right after they ult?

The easiest way to lane against a Trynd is to play a ranged champ with an escape. Eg: Lucian Lucian , he has great poke, decent range and if trynd spins at you (usually does to engage) you can dash away. Another good champ would be Quinn Quinn for her "Leap" and Graves Graves for his dash. If ranged champs don't suit you try using a champion with a stun such as Irelia Irelia or Riven Riven. If he comes at you and hits you Irelia can stun him and walk away. For Riven she has Her Q and E for escapes and her W for stun, while using riven remember to AA in between Q stances for max damage. If all you are looking for is an early advantage Zed Zed can help. using shadows to poke and escape and if need be ulting to escape, (Using zeds ult usually makes a player scared and most times the Trynd player with prematurely Ult himself, so if you can get to tower you can ussually poke him and kill him after his ult stops or poke him and force him to B.

Also ignore the Level xD. Made an NA account to help you, i PLay on OCE <3.

Champions like Pantheon who can farm, trade and poke without jumping into duels with Tryndabear are most effective, hard cc and armor are also strong against him because they allow you to keep him from escaping after he ults or stunning/slowing him while he ults to keep him out of melee range and reduce his damage output while he is unkillable. So for toplane the easiest "counters" are Darius Darius Gangplank Gangplank Garen Irelia Jax Jax Jayce Jayce LeeSin Trundle Vladimir Warwick MonkeyKing XinZhaoPantheonPantheon (Champions shown twice are known to be very effective vs Tryndamere). The champions listed are not perfect counters but just seems to be effective against Tryndamere, champions like Jax and Jayce are perfect for fighting Tryndamere. Tryndamere is extremely useless to his team without damage so succeeding in the laning phase and throwing him behind renders him useless in those game changing mid-game teamfights.

Harass and zoning works best. Trynd really can't scale well damage-wise without items, so any champions who can bully Tryndamere enough without putting themselves in risk tend to be the best for dealing with them.

Burst champions are also surprisingly effective against him if you can time yourself very well. Poke him down to approximately half health, then burst him down as fast as possible. Depending on how well you set up, you might flat out cancel his ult (it has a delay).

Finally, relatively tanky champions with stupid amounts of wave clear can keep him at bay for extended amounts of time, as he will have troubles killing them depending on how tanky the champion in question is, and the wave clear will stall Trynd's pushing power, which is what Tryndamere absolutely needs come mid to late game.

Tryndamere usually builds exclusively attack speed and crit chance. Building items like Frozen Heart and Randuin's Omen cut his damage output significantly. If you can slow his attack speed, it becomes very difficult for him to deal with you; he's usually a pretty squishy champion because he relies on his heal and his ult to keep him alive. Also, if you can CC him before he uses his ult, you can kill him before he can get it off. If you can poke him down, you can also get him to burn his ult before a fight, which is very good for fighting him. Tryndamere is also more of a splitpusher than anything, so having strategies to deal with that are helpful. Champions like Jax would probably work really well against Tryndamere since he can dodge a lot of damage with Counterstrike, as well, Jax is also a splitpusher and probably one of the scariest 1v1 champions in the game. I would assume Nidalee, Gragas, and Lulu can do decent vs. him, especially early, since they can poke him down, kite, and CC (Gragas and Lulu) him around, as well Nidalee is a great split pusher, and Gragas has amazing (less now, but still good) waveclear in order to shut down a split push.

quinn can easily kite him and with a blind she is a counter pick, if not anyone who is good with armor Pantheon Rammus
