Trinkets season 6

I would highlight this concept again. In season 6 the trinket system has been changed. We can decide our start between item 3340 & item 3341. On level 9 we are allowed to upgrade them. But instead of improving the functionality it alterts the function of the trinket. I'm just in love with this concept. We don't even need to upgrade our trinket. In some situations we actualy want to keep the trinket the way it is. This concepts works great with item 3340 where the upgrades now change it into a reworked version of the item 3363. Unfortunately I can't say the same thing for item 3341. The upgrade is still just an upgrade. I litterly see no situation where we shouldn't upgrade it. I really want to see a change with that. So that's why I suggest to also rework item 3341 where it keeps the same functionality but enhanced it's strengths in what it can do:

#Sweeping Totem

Places an Sweep Ward that lasts 8 / 12 seconds.

Sweep Wards reveals and disables all invisible traps and wards within an 400 / 600-unit radius.

  • Cooldown 90 - 60 based on level from 120 / 75.
  • Cast radius now increases gradually with level from 400 / 600.
  • Scan radius now increases gradually with level from 400 / 600.
  • ** NEW EFFECT:** Pings if it detects an enemy unit that you do not have visible of.
  • Sweep Wards lasts until killed and do not count toward ward limit. Not specified if Sweep Wards have a limit.
  • Ward is visible, has only 1 health and cannot be targeted by allies. No teleporting!

So basicly the functionality would remain exactly the same. The differents is now that the sweeping will last longer but now it's vulnerable for been killed by the enemy team. The trinket could be really intressting when for controlling a certain objective like baron or dragon. It's basicly a tempory item 2043. While it's upgrade Oracle Alteration is more about sweeping a location.

So this way we end up with 4 trinkets that can do all their unique things:

  • item 3340: Warding
  • Farsight Alteration: Scouting Objectives (upgraded item 3340)
  • Sweeping Totem: Controlling one specific area
  • Oracle Alteration: Sweeping an area
