There is always a thread complaining about some champ beeing OP.

However, I think we can all agree that Zed right now, is the strongest champion on mid, and one of the strongest in the game. With thunderlord he just needs to land 1 shuriken and your hp is gone. He then uses his legit range on ultimate + W to intantly kill you with almost no chance of retaliating. THen he splitpushes all game and kills everyone etc etc.

Point is, there is a reason he is baned in almost every game, and why he goes 15/2 when he is not

Also, this new season is horrible in terms of balance on SR, really comunity, spam riot and force them to make a change

Right, because thunderlords procs with one shuriken. Forgot zed was coded to make his shuriken count as three attacks. If your hp is gone with one shuriken, it's not because of thunderlords.

Edit: Actually let's pretend this is a legit argument.

  1. Zed is not the strongest champ in mid right now. He is strong, he is not the strongest.
  2. Again, one shuriken is not going to proc thunderlords. That requires an actual combo.
  3. No chance of retaliation? Zed has the healthiest assassination mechanics. Unlike Leblanc, Talon and Rengar, Zed actually gives you time to outplay or defend yourself. Zed's ultimate takes time to pop and can be removed, as well as requiring him to actually hit you, otherwise it's pretty useless. Do you know what the other three champs mentioned do? They delete you. I'm not saying Zed is weak, because he isn't. But of all the assassins, he offers the most counter-play to the assassination. His laning is oppressive, but his assassination is healthy.
  4. Zed has an 18% play rate, 51% win rate, and 16.4% ban-rate. He is neither the most played, most-banned, nor the champion with the highest win-rate. In fact, he's only in the top ten for the ban-rate, placing 10th.
