Gotta love how I'm climbing steadily, and have to quit ranked for a week+ due to kai'sa

Finally getting a season where I'm climbing really steadily, enjoying my games, feeling like the game state overall is pretty good...

And now I need to go play normals for a week or more.

Can't play ranked because:

• I don't want to waste my ban on the new champion when I already have a ban picked
• I don't want to risk my teammates banning the new champion when another wants to play it, and have him int
• I don't want to risk my opponents getting the new champion that will likely be overtuned like almost all new releases are, and he'll proceed to carry on it because he spammed her on PBE
• I don't want to risk my ally picking the champion when they've never played it before and feed like mad

So just because so many players need to be idiots about the new champion (EVERY TIME) I have to stop playing quality games and improving, risk losing my momentum, possibly picking up some bad habits, etc...

Ya, so much more fair than making these guys play the new champion in normals a few times before they can bring it to ranked. Or making them wait 2 weeks before they can play it in ranked (whether they tried it in normals or not).

Oh, and let's not forget that there's already a huge barrier to entry in total number of champions in this game for any new players, and that loads of old champions could use updated kits instead.

Gotta love every time a new champion comes out...
