Rengar E change question.

So i only had about 3 tries with my ult ina custom cuz im gettin ready for work.. but does this change mean i don't have to cast it as early.. on my last try i feel like i casted it towards the ending of my leap and it still hit, but can someone confirm this whos already been playing around with it more than me?
