but with the changes to Adaptive runes giving + 12 ad lvl 1 and able to get conqueror or dark harvest with Ignite as a tank in a solo lane no matter how much you out play the opponent and win lane.

i legit got 1st blood and solo killed fiora top as maokai 3 times in lane while she had dark harvest + ignite and i get flamed by team, get zero help while mid loses to TF as Ekko, bot goes karth+ shaco and hard feed Varus and Lee Sin on the enemy.

Ekko had less damage then me as maokai, less kills and less cs and flames me for "inting " "losing lane" ( while i got 1st turret too ) and had the most kills on the team.

so for me out playing my lane opponent i auto lose cuz of the damage and scaling of Dark Harvest and the true damage from champs kit while they get to heal , gap close, dodge abilities while getting to use a combat summoner spell.

i know fiora should out scale and beat tanks 1 vs 1 but when i clearly out played her the entire laning phase its not right. you are legit handicapped if you play a tank in this game right now. with this being a fact it makes me not enjoy the game, not because i dont get to face role my keyboard and auto win as a tank. i dont enjoy the game cuz of the handicapped and disadvantage im put at due to my champ pick regardless of how i play.

i have always been a tank lover. I am a maokai one trick, love the champ ( not as much as i use to ) and i also love playing tanks at support as well. However with the meta and the amount of damage amplification in the game whats the point?

I should know better though to wish and hope for a fair and balanced game at this point going into season 9 maybe im just venting and people/riot wont give a shit and ill get downvoted for my thoughts.

PS: i just checked the fiora's profile solo queue plat rank, game before i faced a diamond shen top won lane vs both to lose games i dont really play rank but i did placements and got silver 3 for season 8 and that was all of my rank play. Clearly match making isnt great either.
