A proposal for fixing the entirety of the ranked system: Use the wager system from tournaments

Johnny is awesome, he does his warding and supports his team and everything

Jimmy is a little jerk, he's a bad person and he's a bad player too.

A little info is given early and we see the bans and game chat, whatever. We see all these things and then its time to put up your wagers.

Johnny is good and knows he can carry this no matter how bad jimmy is so he might wager 20 LP

Jimmy thinks he's good so he will wager 30 LP

Johnny see's that jimmy is a jerk and how his negativity hurts the team and decides to change his wager to the 10LP minimum before he gets depressed and doesn't feel like playing hard enough to carry because he's lost faith in humanity.

If you drop below 0 LP you get demoted, no exceptions. The only people who really benefit from the safety net are people who take really long breaks, give them some other solution
