Duskblade passive isn't why Jhin and MF are buying it.

I mean, do adcs jump into the backline and drop all of their damage on a squishy target?

Nope. I'd say the majority of the time my duskblade proc is used on a frontliner when I'm Jhin and deals <150 damage.

So, I don't see what making this item melee would do. Or any other item that you claim is better on adcs than the class it was "intended for". You can say for sure that on someone like Jhin, Ghostblade + Duskblade is the optimal build, but "abused" is the wrong word here.

MF actually uses the passive though because she can finish people off after she ults, and often MF won't be autoattacking at the start of the fight.

Yep, pretty sure you called it.
The base stats are stupid good for 'em both, especially the high AD and %ms. Also pen.

People are just realizing that ADCs are stronger early if you don't build crit, that's all. First the Rageblade trend, now the armor pen trend. Aside from making the average game longer, buffing the crit items, or making the items melee only (all terrible options btw) there is nothing balance-wise to do.

The passive is only good late game or where you can get ahead to the point where you can just shoot two or three times, walk away, and get the kill.
