Rengar IS not stupid broken.

Okay, so before I get downvoted to hell, please hear me out. Rengar's new kit has a lot of counter play to it if you know how to properly play against it, and while I'm pretty sure I'll end up regretting telling you all this is a Rengar main, I will so that way you guys stop complaining about Rengar being broken.

The most common complaint I've heard is that Rengar's burst is even faster and there is no way to avoid him. Well, here is two simple ways to avoid that situation. First, ward. Rengar has no good way reliable way to close the distance unless he's in a bush. So, the best way to avoid being taken by surprise by the Rengar hiding in that bush, is to have that bush warded. One ward in a bush means that's one less bush Rengar can use to get the jump on you.

But that's common knowledge, most people complain about Rengar's ultimate. Well, here's the thing, you have plenty of time to react. You get a big handy indicator over your head if your the closest to Rengar if he's in ult, which is your signal to GTFO. So, instead of standing around and waiting for Rengar to jump on you, run back, Rengar's hate nothing more than to waste their ultimate.

But let's say you're in a team fight situation, what can you do then? Well simple, have your tank position himself in a way that makes Rengar's eye of doom appear over him. Do this, and now if Rengar decides to jump on you he won't get the crit from his ultimate as it only affects the marked target, and you also have a nice tank near you that has a load of CC in his kit to peel Rengar off of you.

So hopefully these tips will help you realize that Rengar isn't completely broken, and in fact with some simple preventive tactics you can make a Rengar's day very difficult.
