Hello, IGN: StateOfEmergency

Hello Riot or anyone that can help me, I just got out of a game and I need to tell the details

Top -Irelia Irelia, Jungle -MasterYi Yi, Mid - Zed Zed (Me), Adc - Jinx Jinx, Support -Blitzcrank Blitzcrank,

I just wanted some practice in normals on Zed because he is a tricky champ but, awesome if I could master him. The game starts and as we get into it we are really winning, I got killed in lane a couple times, and my bot lane is complaining in all chat that they are lagging, Yi gets killed a couple times in the jungle; he isn't doing the best and he's behind since he went devourer, Irelia doesn't say anything. Now bot lane really starts to flame our poor Master Yi, who probably just wanted to play his new skin, when he ganks they(bot lane) flame him for a bad gank, when they both die and Yi comes to maybe try to clean up they flame him for being late, the poor guy just couldn't no matter what he did they would get on his case. The entire time he hasn't said a word, "maybe he muted them" I thought. So I said to defend a fellow Yi player, "He's a farming jungle, let him do that". Again no response from Yi, I'm think he muted the whole team, i've done it before if I'm in a game and everyone seems to get salty I just mute everyone and communicate with pings. Bot lane said some real mean stuff so i just said something along the lines of, "Just let him do his thing", Now i know we can still win, so I don't the fight fire with fire. They attack me back with stuff like, "you never follow Brand" or "You haven't done shit', or just "You're bad", I forgive them I wasn't playing well and that's okay, maybe if we win they will learn their lesson of you shouldn't give up. Idk. They kind of got to me, BUT I kept my composure, I said, "You are toxic, and everyone will report you". I kind of turned my brain off and tuned the bot lane out and every single time Yi did something well, I gave him a little "gj yi", "don't let them get to you", or "niceee" Maybe to make him feel better. We start winning, mutliple fight end up in our favor and guess what, we won! I thought my mindset and all my comments were only constructive. I wasn't attacking Jinx and Blitzcrank, i was only bringing up Yi, i honestly thpught to myself, "that s how you win a losing game!", I didn't report Jinx and Blitz because like I said early maybe they will reflect on themselves and be like, "maybe I shouldn't flame our jungler". I typed a gg wp in all chat after game, I clicked home and I got a Warning, saying something along the lines of "Your behavior is not in line with League" or something like that. What did I do? I thought if anything that was a proud example of what you should do if people in game let their emotions get the better of them. I really don't want to get banned, I really thought I was doing the right thing, if i did something wrong please tell me so I can change, check the chat logs, let me know If i did something wrong.

  1. I think what might have happend was Jinx and Blitz reported me after game, maybe they had some grudge or something, and I got an automated warning just because I had two reports on me.

Riot or someone that give me a greater insight, please respond to me.

I got a 34 game chat ban once, completed it only to get another. I tried support ticket. The rito guy literally said, "it's important to know you are doing nothing wrong". So after multiple chats about how dumb he is, I went on forums for answer. Lyte commented that I was being toxic because I told a dude that was flaming a teammate to "calm down ffs". Literally that and only that. I was like wut....meanwhile, no punishment for a Vayne that goes 0-59 in multiple games.

It's a pop-up for being toxic. Don't do it again and nothing will happen.

That's exactly what happened. Did you know that asking for reports is the number one way to get punished? STOP doing that and just report once quietly. Only one report per game matters. All asking for reports / calling someone toxic does is make you look like a small child who doesn't understand that whining is one of the most obnoxious behaviors known to man. By engaging with them you are enabling them and expanding the toxicity to three people on the team instead of just two. You only got a popup, not a real punishment. It's there to let you know your behavior wasn't entirely good and gives you a chance to learn from those errors. Hope this helps you keep from getting an actual punishment!
