Time To Consider A Solution To KSing In Bot Games

Many players, such as myself, enjoy playing the AI vs Team (Bot) games, and never play PVP. Many reasons contribute to this - lack of friends that play LoL, or not wanting to learn how to ward. Also in PVP games good communication and teamwork are imperative - but so often does not occur.

In Bot games there are 2 things that would make the game better, and stop two really bad things that happen in the games.

  1. How do you stop the player that lurks nearby to steal kills that another player earned? [Answer] Any player that inflicts 75% or more damage on an enemy champ gets the kill no matter who last hits.
  2. Bot champs played on a 2nd account used ONLY to steal farm or intentional feed enemy champs in other player's lane. This one is harder to remedy. Stronger rule enforcement and BANNING when this is reported would help. View the game replay and it's easy to see which champ used the Bot Champ to ruin another player's game... BAN both accounts - the Bot and the owner. Most of the Bot champs played on a 2nd (or 3rd) account use illegal 3rd-party software to auto-target minions and deprive another player of their farm.

It's a shame that so many players must resort to such tactics instead of just playing their Champion expertly and earning their game results honestly.

You cant be serious...

You play coop games, the least stressful way to play league and you STILL manage to search for things to stress out over? Seriously? What's next? Minions do not spawn the instant you leave the walls of the base?

Here is what you do to fix 1:

  • Create custom game
  • disable anyone from entering your custom game
  • add up to 5 bots in the enemy team with the difficulty level of your choice
  • play game
  • profit

you'll never have to worry about someone "KS" ing your hard earned kills ever again.

Kill stealing does not exist in LoL. The main advantage of a kill is removing the enemy from the map, not getting a better score.

Intentional feeding is actually great. It makes the bots actually worth playing against.

Kill stealing is annoying for sure (depending how its done), but that isn't the biggest issue. The biggest issue is a person who tries hard and goes 12-0 and just constantly pushes the game to a fast close. LIKE STOP. I came here to practice/first win. You snowballing and then killing every bot and ending it is the opposite of what I want. Usually I at least slow down and farm jungle to let other people unless the team says otherwise.

I went ahead and upvoted you just for the laugh.

People still say "KS" in 2017? I thought that was done with years ago or only relegated to Bronze V play.

Folks, it's a team game, you play as a team, there's no such thing as "kill stealing".

I'm a bot game player. If it's Beginner Bots, as far as I'm concerned, there's no such thing as kill stealing. Also, the metas for laning and jungling are completely optional. It's a practice ground, and there are lots of brand new players who don't know what they're doing yet.

If it's Intermediate Bots, then politely asking people to change unwanted behavior is fine. But there will always be trolls and players looking to glorify their e-peen. If you change the rules on them, they'll simply adapt their methods and continue being annoying. If they're actually breaking the rules, like feeding, then use the existing tools. Report them.

Changing the game mechanics in bot games to make them different from PvP games the way you describe is not acceptable. You and I might spend all our time there, but the bots modes are mainly there for practice.

Frankly, you really shouldn't be concerned about kill stealing. Many, many players in bots games are simply inexperienced, and don't know how or why to avoid killing stuff.

Reminds me of a coop game I played a while back on my smurf. I called adc and locked in Ashe. Someone else locked in Jinx and came bot, trying to KS the whole game. They finished something like 0/4/38.
