so i'm a few weeks new, should i primarily play my main only? and other champs if main gets banned?

my main is Lux, i decided this the other day and it's probably my best champ to play, but mainly i just like her a lot

i have a handful of champs i'm comfortable with. from very comfortable to medium to low, and lux is very. it's not the only champ i'm that comfortable with but, anyways

i mainly play draft FOR the reason that lux might get banned, so i'll have to play another champ and improve with other champs. before i didn't care if lux got banned, well i didn't really care when any champ of mine got banned cuz i'm new and i'm cool with trying many champs

but now since a few days i've played mainly lux cuz i made the decision to make her main just recently

so, now that i've found a main, should i focus as much as i can on playing her? or is my strategy (that playing draft so she might get banned and i'll have to work on other champs) good, OR should i make like, secondary mains. i mainly am a Mid, Bot, Support player

not so much top right now

but anyways. any tips? or comments on my situation?

Depends, do you want to play to just have fun, one trick, goals for ranked?

If you just want to enjoy the game, just play Lux.

i definitely plan on going for ranks, and playing seriously

i'm willing to put in all those insane hours of practice too, i am a dedicated gamer

but ok i guess as long as i'm improving in the game, i can just play what i want

ok yea, i've read around that Lux isn't that good tbh that high elo don't play it as main

is this true? but anyway, i always felt that i'm more of a multiple main guy, than a one trick pony guy so since i like Lux i'll main her, but i'll try to expand my skill with more champion(s) as main

Do what you want to do :D

If you feel like trying other champs(try ones in rotations if you are not sure about spending blue essence on them), it won't hurt you and if you want to be "good" you should learn every ability in the game. Improving with one champ is good as well, you will learn mechanics, matchups and eventually even enemy champs abilities.

Just have fun :D
