Bad jungler.. Your thoughts?

After 2 exhausting pre-made 5 games for one day (the first game with a Jax that went 0/5 to a Riven in 5-10 minutes and the second game with a Shaco that was probably worse than Jax himself in terms of.. everything), I can't help but question how bad (or good, if I can even say that..?) the jungler was in my second game. We did win those games miraculously because of strong teamwork amongst the 4 of us, but it still peeves me on what happened during the second game. Now to my point:

As stated before, we were a pre-made team of 5 - we all know each other, so there's always an occasional joking insult between us. I played as Janna support with a Tristana. Zed was mid. During the game however, our Jayce in top would occasionally say in chat "Shaco is so bad. He's worse than (insert a guy equivalent to Bronze V that we also know). Shaco is easily aggravated by these comments and the two have their squabbling - mostly Jayce insulting Shaco and Shaco raging at Jayce. Everyone does well in lane, but I do not remember a time when Shaco attempted to gank my lane even once.

Putting that aside, it didn't really matter if he ganked or not as we were able to win lane easily and snowball ahead. However, when the enemy team contested for objectives such as Dragon, the Shaco would be all the way on the other side, getting blue, recalling, then finally heeds our pings for Dragon. We were always faced in a 4v5 situation for objectives due to Shaco always going for buffs or camps, and then finally heading over by the time everyone was dead because a team fight broke out.

To my next point, regarding the 4v5 situations that occurred almost every single time a team fight would break out. Shaco would for some reason be pushing top lane as the 4 of us would be pressuring mid, but he never pushed far enough to even attack the tower. Usually the 4 of us would either be poked down or would have to back off because their team would take us down easily. After we run, the enemy Riven (she was pretty fed) would go back top and Shaco would attempt to solo her, only to be killed. He also kept trying to steal enemy buffs when their entire team would be there, getting himself killed again, only to leave us in a 4v5 situation once more. Keep in mind, it's mid-late game as Shaco attempts to steal their buffs.

To my final point. Miraculously, we managed to take their mid inhibitor tower as well as their inhib. Usually, 2-3 of the carries on the enemy team are dead. At this point, we ping to rush Baron. AGAIN, Shaco is busy getting his buffs as we frantically ping Baron, only to back off because everyone on the enemy team is up again, and we can't contest for it. OR we see an ample opportunity to rush Baron and engage in a team fight as the enemy team is busy defending mid lane, only to have Shaco arrive as the enemy team is too close. This happens like 3 times during the game. Due to the Jayce's comments throughout the game, Shaco childishly responds to us after we back off from Baron with "why should I get Baron for an a--hole like you" to Jayce. At this point, I can't help but roll my eyes to the stupidity and immaturity being displayed here. Yes, Jayce was being a complete jerk and it was unnecessary. BUT Shaco did NOT need to throw for the entire team because of one person. Oh, and he said he was "sick of all our trolling". None of us really said anything to him, other than the Jayce..?

TL;DR - Shaco had 0 awareness of prioritizing objectives such as tower, Dragon or Baron. Buffs/Camps > Objectives. Also, he refused to communicate with the team due to our Jayce poking at him with an insult occasionally. The Shaco NEVER grouped with us in team fights. Basically, a 4v5 situation.

So, what are your thoughts on our Shaco? Would greatly appreciate any suggestions on how I can get him to improve, as he is quite arrogant and takes criticism poorly, resulting in either: refusing to communicate/go on tilt/rage/all of the mentioned 3.

I don't now how frequent and on what comments is he getting aggravated like that so he does not want to play, but; Some times when I get criticized by a teammate i the first 5 minutes, my game goes sooo bad, its like jinx for me, and I dont even talk back to critics and flaming except if i don't think my explanation will calm the other person down. I don't know what it is exactly and its always different bunch of things, mainly Ill start focusing on bigger pray with low health(in order to get stronger faster) and start loosing track of my and the enemy team and start to be at the wrong places in the wrong time, or Ill start thinking im not ready to help yet and start focus on farming while both teams get tons of gold with kills and assists and im the only one with no build.

Yesterday I did so bad It was gona be better if i was to afk; I tried Hecarim for the first time in jungle and it all started when mid started calling me out when i refused to invade and the 3 of them ware already at enemy's blue.... We took blue undetected but i lacked a lvl coz of that invade and it all went down hill accompanied by comments and jokes on my side.

Couple times when I started irritated by a team mate and start doing noob plays, i remember being pulled back in the game by other team mate with things like "Dont worry, its still early u'll be crushing them in 5 min".

So my advice is this; Whenever he is criticized by some one, another should show faith in him and tap him on the shoulder. Do not try to stop the one that is criticizing him! That is gonna make things worse, agree but show faith, dont just silently watch. If u are a team u need to be a team in every situation.

Junglers have a lot on their mind; Where is the other jungler? Who is loosing lane? Who needs just a small push to make a kill? and all those things need to be answered with tons of small details. So as soon as he receive a critic early in the game he might need help to get his mindset back in the game. Especially now in the new jungle where after couple of bad plays junglers start to feel pressure in stead of having fun.

Much more important then whither your shaco playing well or not is the jayce IMO. You don't deliberately do stuff to piss off your team mates, or your friends. It would be one thing if it was constructive criticism, but it sounds to me like he was just bashing the guy. That's never going to get any of you anything but drama.

Now, as for the Shaco, from what you said, it sounds like he has an issue grouping for objective control, and that is an issue, but it also sounds like he was on tilt at the time thanks to the Jayce. The first thing I'd suggest is seeing how he plays when he isn't upset with someone in your group. Also, as far as ganks are concerned, we're all learning the new jungle right now and it's going to take some time to get it completely down. Expect junglers in general to be a bit slower then they used to, and it doesn't help that the jungle takes noticeably more to clear then it used to either.

1st don't piss him off, your lucky he didn't deside to afk or worse feed.

2nd Tell Jayce to shut it, all his rants and raves about who's doing what had the whole team reading chat instead of possible playing better.

3rd Get a new shaco, prievious 2 weren't me taking up for the guy, it was a view on two things your team were doing wrong. If a player in any position is doing badly don't shout "You should be in bronze!!!!!" tell him what he's doing wrong and how to correct it. This might take a few more seconds in chat but will bring your teams winning average as a whole up.

4th I'm a new player but even I know these things. Team work is the Key to this game. It doesnt matter if you have a Yasuo 5 levels higher than the enemy team and with 30/0/30. If their team has better team work they will comeback and win 60-75% of the time.

5th Make sure Shaco uses Masked Shaco Skin its OP

First off I have to say thank you for actually presenting something like this in a constructive manner! It's a lovely change of pace to what's usually on here.

As for the Shaco do you know him IRL? If not do you know him well enough to have a "sit down, we need to talk" type conversation with him? I obviously can't talk specifics since I don't know the guy, but having a completely honest one on one talk with him might not be a bad idea. I'd do the same with the Jayce, but Shaco would be my primary concern. Don't focus on anything but his attitude, the gameplay stuff can come later once he is in a better mindset.
