Hey guys! So I am no expert on all the LoL champions...But I do know that healers can MOMENTOUSLY help in team fights. Like they can totally change how a team fight goes. I made a list of all the champions that can heal below. Please vote who you think is the best champion (as opposed to who is able to heal the most).

(I figured out your only able to make polls with a maximum of 10 options...So I did the 10 healers that I thought were most viable to be played in the support role)

soraka def heals the most but for teamfights and teamplay, nami will have the most impact

Soraka and Sona obviously, especially with Athene's Unholy Grail. Janna gets special mention because her ult heal is pretty powerful, Bard for heal + ms heals and I believe one of the only R abiliites that can actually stop ignite.

Speaking numerically, taking into account cooldowns, mana costs, range, everything; Soraka is the strongest healer in the game(surprise surprise.) I don't even know how this is really a question.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Sona is the worst healer in the game. Has been since 4.13 and still is to do this day, especially considering other champs like Bard and Nidalee have had their heals BUFFED, contrast to Rito's endless series of Sona nerfs. Speaking of, why isn't Nidalee one of the poll options? Like I just pointed out, she has stronger heals than Sona, yet somehow Sona made it onto the poll, if only to intentionally mislead the forum posters who have never bothered to read the Sona nerfs in these past 3 years.

For overall I'd have to say Nami or Janna - their cc's and shield help prevent the need of tons of healing. With Yasuo falling off the popular champions, you won't have tidal wave blocked due to one pixel too close.

If you just want to have big numbers on the stats screen, Soraka. Sona doesn't have as big of numbers, but if you're using and consider her shield it can get much higher than raka.

(disclaimer: my opinion you're not going to like.) Raka's greatest power lies in Equinox. You can catch people out or shut down entire champion kits by placing it in the right spot at the right time.

I voted for Soraka. Not only does she have strong healing numbers, her burst healing is trough the roof. My 2nd pick would be Sona. With proper items and 45% CDR, her aoe shield + heal with windspeaker is extremely strong. I've healed for 400ish per W late game with her, combined with nice shield and is also spammable. It also heals herself, unlike Soraka. Sona, with stacked tear( archangel staff for nice big mana and AP ), redemption, ardent, mikael and athene = insane spammable heals and shields. Yet there is nothing better than saving your top laner who was 10hp with Soraka R. She has big impact.

If you're asking who can heal the most then it's Soraka. If you're asking which champion personifies "the healer" the most then the answer yet again is Soraka. If you're asking who is the most viable support who can also heal that question becomes a bit harder. Mordekaiser and Kayle are not normally played support (though I have played Kayle support on occassion) so I gotta rule those two out. Janna has had a consistently high win rate for a long, long time and hasn't been nerfed recently so I'd probably have to go with her (though Soraka is a great choice too.)

Support heal, it is Soraka. Healer in general in my opinion should be Vladimir
