So now that we have auto permabans, are we doing anything about toxic premades?
Because as a person who enjoys playing normals, I'm getting really sick of this shit you get from 3 or 4-man premades. My last game, my ADC was just in an infinite loop of walking to lane, failing to farm for a bit (seemed like she probably had a million ping) and then DCing and walking back to nexus for a minute or two.
I said "please report Ashe for leaving" and apparently she was in a premade with two friends, who then accused me of being toxic in /all chat, saying I was making death threats and calling them racist slurs. I muted all after that. End of the game, I get a "Oh it looks like you've been reported" warning.
Like look, I'm sorry, if someone wastes 20 minutes of my life because they have fisher price internet I'm gonna report and move on because I don't think it's cool for them to go around ruining other peoples' games too. So if they afk a lot, I'm gonna hope they get reported enough to get banned for it, League is not the game to play with crappy internet. But now we've got a shiny new auto-ban system that kicks into gear for racist/sexist/homophobic stuff and it's just another weapon in the hands of toxic premades who already held all the power to chain report you and get the enemy team to do the same. With instabans, there's no factor of safety between you and people that abuse the system anymore, there's no "oh you have to get reported X times over Y games for anything to happen, don't worry!"
