These Rune changes are less exciting to me because I know balance will be broken for months

As somebody that had to deal with things like Graves jungle being significantly better than every other jungler for close to 9 months last year, I am dreading the extra power that runes are bringing to the table. I feel like Riot has just been way too slow to react to champion balance in a lot of cases and wished that they would focus on balance instead of keeping things fresh with cycling metas of power and weakness. I don't think in 7 years we have had a Riot member actually explain what the strategy is on balance but we have had many hints that keeping everybody close to even is secondary to cycling through powering champions to allow them time in the sun.
