Hello, This is a suggestion for the ranked gameplay in general. I have had several issues with player behavior since I started league. I got good response from the reddit community (Link in the description). There are many posts regarding trolls in champ select, in-game and how higher tier smurfs stomp the new players levelling up. I had an idea which can pretty much limit new players from doing the same mistake as I did in ranked and hinder the smurfs by a fair amount.

Since the new mastery system is already in effect, how about restricting the use of champs under mastery level 3 to ranked games. The player has to level up their champ score to level 3 in normal games in order to use that champ in ranked. Well most of the first time trolls will get the hang of the champ by doing so since it requires roughly at 10 games to reach level 3. And at a far stretch this will probably hinder the smurfs to stomp the ranked at lower tiers too to a certain level since they have to pretty much play certain number of normal games in order to play the same champ in ranked.

This sounds good in theory however, this wouldn't work nor would it change anything. First of all, this would require a ton of people who is playing ranked to have to play a ton of normal in order to continue playing ranked as with the ban system and payer choices; it would require you to get 15 champs to level 3. While it may stop "first time trolls", trolls will still exist and there is nothing you nor I can do about it. Even if The smurfs had to reach level 3 in 15 champs, guess what. They will still dominate as, even on their main account, they had to get to level 3 on 15 champs; they may dominate even harder.

A better idea is to have a level one mastery in the same situation. Although there isn't really a problem with what we have now.

Might work. Would be a huge issue for some players though. People would hate me supporting for instance bc unless they give credit for past season games I would suddenly have a champ pool of nasus, heimer, and Darius. No one likes heimer support, but I've played 2 normals in the past year and a half, and I don't like normals so I would only play stuff to level 3 that I absolutely wanted to have in ranked and people would be pissed when I had a champ pool of 5 or maybe six champs.
