1st wave: the creative wave.

This wave didnt have money so they focused on making the game feel natural and fun. They didn't worry about over complicated mechanics as long as the overall package was good. They also felt that they player should dictate how they want to play the game. For example putting ap scaling on all abilities that might require magic if they were used in reality. The challenge shouldn't be the game it should be your opponents. Alpha- season 1

Wave 2: The innovative wave.

Rather then making simple champions that relied on the players ability to think of strategies this wave tried to make the entire map important and let their champions have very simple mechanics that could be improved by the players own ability. They also felt that each game should be an experience rather then you should be playing more games and as such they made alot of ways to stall the game. Season 2 - season 4

Wave 3: the bitter wave.

This wave kept having people say "this game isn't fun anymore" after they reworked alot of the champions and items that didnt work but was fun to mess around with. This wave constantly screeches "what do the past 2 waves know they turned the game into a shithole." Ironically ignoring the making of the game. They proceed to try and kill anything that the past 2 waves created. Like cool but clunky and stupid champion concepts and clients that didn't need to have innovation shoved into them.

Yes if it is not obvious this wave likes to shove innovation where it is not needed. This is helpful in certain areas like champions where they created champions that require alot of skill and have alot of power if you manage them properly but without the proper player they will never succeed. This creates champions that are extremely fun but might be broken in the sense that they cant be fixed bolth for new players and for good players.Yasuo Yasuo Yasuo These champions will be the most overpowered champion in the game if in the right hands.

Then of course comes the old champions who just arent fitting in the current game. For some reason making overpowered champions with more mobility then whatever the antonym for your mother is, makes any champion without that level of power useless. Sure most of these are very good reworks once balanced. Graves Shen Ryze then of course there are the reworks where they use their philosophy based upon how hard the wind blows this morning. First they say they will never completely destroy an entire champions playstyle and will try to give the feeling of the champions old kit new breath. Sion Also they say they will never revert back a champion and will deal with the shit they made simply to make the game more intresting.KogMaw

Or maby its just to absolutely torment me since its not like i mained bolth of those champions.
