Rank Unbalanced?

I just got out of a ranked game where my team only had one person who had won double digits worth of games (the rest of our team was either single digits or actually 0) while the opposing team had all 5 players with triple digits. Is there a bug or something? I don't mind losing but when my entire team is given a blatantly unfair chance it kinda bugs me. Is this a normal thing or is there something wrong because of the new champion select system?
