Demotes or no ?

I am currently gold 5 and in really bad situation ... lost 8 games at 0 lp just when I entered gold.Won 1 and lost 3 more of which 2 were on 0 lp,won one again and lost one.Is it possible to fall from gold 5 in season 6 or no ?I'm getting way too angry at my teammates.
