( IMHO ) Mordekaiser "full tank" is a thing now. You just have to TRY.

Hey there. It's me Vraestin. p1 915k otp Mordekaiser.

So... we heard on the forum that rylai is getting nerfed and we don't know at all if Morde will get some buffs to compensate. Me and a couple of Morde otps I follow ( streamers, youtubers etc ) are actually changing our playstyle trying to don't use Rylai anymore and be ready when the nerfs income.

All mordekaisers builds and playstyles have a problem: If you dont reach inhib tower before 30-35 mins, your chances to win the game drop drastically due to the fact you get outscaled and lategame your super-nerfed resistances will make you die before reaching the carries and deal your damage. At least in an elo where supports know what peeling is.

So I checked multiple times the items list, to make a build MID GAME oriented, other than late.

This is actually easier to say than putting in action, I know, because of course, going full build before 30 mins requires you to be hugely fed... unless... your items cost VERY LOW golds.

I made a new item set with all items costing 2900 or less. The major part of them are tanky items, so, most of the times, by building like that you will go " full tank ".

I am using the " " because a build made by such cheap items is not a real build after all. It will make you get an huge powerspike in the midgame, when you will be full and your enemies at 3 - 3 1/2 items... and most of the times this WILL be enough to finish the game out. But in case the enemy team survives, then your lategame will be even more bad than normal, since your build is ( as said ) mid game focused.

That said, I'll leave you my replay.gg page, so you can watch my past games and see how the play style actually is. http://www.replay.gg/search/euw/vraestin In average I just want to rush zzrot and put it toplane, then tp after level 6 to drake and trying to snowball from there, with the ghosts.

I know it may sound a bit crazy since me and a lot of other mordekaiser mains out there love to make him a glass cannon, but in defense of " full tank " morde I can say: Try building him like that in a single game, and then try popping ghost and releasing a full combo on a squishy target. After doing that, you will start asking yourself " why should I ever build ap items on this thing ? ".

I hope i expressed myself in a way you can understand something, because my english is very bad XD Thank you for reading.

Instead of either Full Tank or glass cannon you can simply opt for bruiser.

Best of both worlds.

I used item 3116 item 3053 item 3146 item 3742 item 3065 all season but have been using item 3116 item 3151 item 3146 item 3053 item 3143 /item 3065 more and more. The latter gives you a huge early and mid game spike while transitioning into a strong late game build.

You just have to adapt to the situation and decide yourself which build fits the enemy team comp and situation at hand.

Hell, full tank falls of late, big time. Why would you even pick Morde if you want to go full tank if you could just as well pick Nautilus.

I quite honestly think that full tank anything+zzrot can be way more effective than it 'should' be regardless of the champion. It takes a different playstyle, but for the most part the items make the tank, rather than the champions kit so...

Hell, I've seen a tank vayne back when spirit visage+sunfire+iceborn was some stupidly broken item combo, so even marksman can get in on the tank fun if they really want to.

That said, tank morde is the way I've been inclined to play him the handful of times I did. He's a man made of metal, you'd think he'd be tanky instead of some sort of ap glass cannon.
