Meddler Has Already Tried Buffing Mantra. Why is it This Hard to Get Actual Work Done? Seriously.

The problem with Karma's kit is the lack of a gameplay identity and skill expression in her Mantra. Mantra itself is just a Heimerdinger ULT. Tell me something that Mantra E does better than what it already does in game? Tell me something that Mantra Q does better than any other champion in the game does? Her damage is lackluster and the functionality of the damage is bad. The protective nature of Karma's Mantra is unoriginal and exists on item actives and in several versions of champion kits. Mantra W will continue to be abused in a role she has no place in.

The kit is not working and the gameplay identity you keep trying to force her into, is not working. Meddler needs to wake up and realize that this rework coming out isn't any better than what they have already done. Meddler's ego is so inflated and he is so stubborn that he refuses to actually rectify mistakes and make this champion better. He twists data and excuses in a way that benefits his own desires and lack of care. Meddler hates Old/Mage Karma mains. This specific Developer who is now in charge, has shown a clear pattern of behavior that just tells us he was never interested in doing anything on this champion. The new rework solidifies what type of work ethic Meddler has. New champions are more important and taking themes and abilities away from one champion is acceptable. Failing to admit that mistakes were made and finding a way to bridge the gap between two playstyles that were created by horrible Developer work, is acceptable to Meddler. Having the most generic and unoriginal kit that exists in the game already, is acceptable.

You don't have to bring back shield bomb, fans, clothesline tether, but you do at some point have to get over your huge ego and admit that there is a problem. Find a way to tackle the problem so that all parties are happy with the outcome. Keeping Mantra Q the way it is and just front loading it with more damage, invalidates Mage and Old Karma mains who actually want more skill expression on it like explosion healing. Making it so Mantra W can be abused in the jungle is the same problems Mantra W had with the healing it does now, as well as the new changes that completely are one sided towards Support. Let's not even get on to the subject of how bland tethers are in the game when it functions like Morgana's and LeBlanc's. Mantra E is the biggest let down because I can name two item actives that do better than Mantra E and I can name almost every single Enchanter that can do the effect of Mantra E on a single target.
