Resolve tree tough skin/bond of stone solution + dorans shield buff to help melee champs in lane

we don't need bond of stone, it is too weak, damage absorption wise, to feel impactful, it's hardly ever used it should go

Tough skin feels really lame too, minus 2 damage, that's a joke nobody ever really uses it.

What if they swapped spots

Bond of stone absorb 5% damage from nearest ally, good for supporting your carry in lane by giving them a bit of relief in taking damage outside of lane it's not that great for every 1000 damage you take 50 of it, won't be too strong in teamfights etc. Good for laning and sieging to keep your carries more healthy but not overbearing, and thus a good keystone for supports and tanks if they want to help their carry. The mastery no longer offers damage reduction.

Though skin, tier 3 keystone: reduce damage taken after resistances by 12 + 2% of missing health (half as effective for ranged champions) Early game this helps mitigate poke Later in game this gives tanks an option to protect vs small amounts of damage like dot's and on hit effects and a little bit of protection from random aoe damage. It starts to kick in after taking some damage though since it's missing health Less effect on ranged to prevent abuse cases

Proposed Dorans shield buff

Now gives 100 health instead of 80 Now gives 5 health regeneration tripled below half health Now Blocks 8 damage after resistances

Small buff to health to increase cost effectiveness Minus 1 health regen, but the health regen now tripples once you get below half health to help you stick in lane through excessive ranged poke, without making it too strong all round since it isn't as strong above half health Blocking the damage after resistances makes dorans shield passive actually reward you for having some resistances and to preven't the item from losing its worth if you buy more and level up The other dorans items synergize with increased stats and doran's shield never did this should fix that.

These are some resolve changes i would love to see + a dorans upgrade to make it a good buy for melee champions
