Am I missing something on Garen's E?
So a bunch of people were saying "Garen has more ticks at lvl 16, now he can do more damage yadayadayada e actually buffed[the only thing to be considered a buff at all except the villain thingy]), but doing the math let's look at Garen's old E and compare it to the new E, will give him 200 total AD to make math easy.
If you're NOTstriking a single target, and you're at max rank E(max ticks): Old E: 6 ticks per cast, 60 base damage, .55 scaling damage. 6X60+.55(200)=470 base damage to all targets hit, if hit by max ticks. New E: 10 ticks per cast, 30 base damage, .38 scaling damage. 30X10+.38(200)=376.
That's a loss of nearly 100 damage per cast, plus since there's more ticks to get that, you have to sit on the enemy LONGER to get all of those casts, if you add the single target damage(33%) and apply to it all ticks of his new E, it still only gives him around 500.08 damage, which means, you get a total of 30 extra damage to a SINGLE TARGET, compared to a loss of 100 damage to ALL TARGETS. That sounds like a pretty big nerf to his E as well.
The only saving grace is the new villain passive on his ultimate that gives true damage, but once again, since the villain is only a single target, you'll really only wipe them out and in teamfights the villain can change all willy nilly, plus with the HUGE nerf to his W, and the nerf to his Q, it's gonna be even hard to get on an enemy and stick to them in a teamfight, since now you have to build merc treads for the tenacity, so no more boots of swiftness and now you have to stick to them for the full 10 ticks, and now your silence isn't as long so they can flash away quicker... just seems like his new kit is practically an overall nerf to everyone he's facing except the villain.
EDIT: I hear he spins faster so the ticks go off at the same speed, but my point still stands about the damage.
