Positional Matchmaking is just awful.

Who had this idea? To begin with, it completely sucks all of the motivation out of playing any role other than what you main. Say you're a mid/top main and get autofilled support. What incentive do I have to try to win this game? Personally, I have absolutely no intention of finishing my placements for any role other than Mid and Support, so if I ever get anything else its just....why bother? I mean I PERSONALLY will give it my best effort because I don't want to be "that guy", but a win just feels like a hollow victory and a defeat is just eh. All it does is motivate people to troll.

Secondly, it punishes strategic play. Less than a month after its released people, surprise surprise, found a way to exploit the garbage system to play against lower ranked players. Because of this, LP gained in games where you lane swap for a more favorable matchup (IE garen laneswapping with their Ahri mid to lane against Zed instead of Vayne) is HALVED and you get a warning telling you that if you keep doing this you're gonna get penalized.

LITERALLY noone asked for this Riot. Please for the love of god revert it.
