**MATCHMAKING : ** One ladder for everyone.

Bronze - Silver - Gold - Plat = Can queue as solo or duo or trio Diamond = Solo / duo only Master = Solo only

You can only group with people that have a similar MMR to yours AND are within 2 divisions of yourself.

Examples :

  • Silver 4 with Silver 2 can work if you have similar MMR
  • Silver 4 with Silver 1 never works even if you have a similar MMR
  • Gold 5 with Gold 5 doesn't work if one of you has a plat V MMR but the other one has a Gold V MMR
  • Plat 4/Plat 4/Plat 3 works if all of you have a diamond 5 MMR

For groups of 3 sames rules are applied. MMR restrictions should be decided by Riot as they see fit. It prevents smurfs duo queueing with people who have a significantly lower MMR. The MMR differential has to be more than 2 divisions obviously could be something like 3-4 divisions worth of MMR.

**ROLE SELECTION : ** Everyone has a 5 role selection menu where you'd have a slider for each role saying how often you choose to play that role.

_Examples : _

  • You can choose playing 20% of each role that means everytime you queue you have equal chances of playing any role
  • You can choose 50/50 for two roles meaning you'd play either 50% of the time
  • You can also choose 80/20 for two roles meaning you'd play one 80% of the time and the other 20%
  • You can pick 3 roles 60/20/20
  • You can pick 1 role 100, basically implying you'll always get that role

Any combination of roles where the final sum is 100 works. The algorythm would be pseudo RNG out of 10 games implying the % WILL BE RESPECTED ALL THE TIME.

_One little example : _

I'd like to play mid / jgl and support mostly but sometimes top. I pick mid = 40%, Jgl = 30%, support 20% and top 10%. These are my basic setting that I can reuse anytime I queue but I'm able to change them whenever I want. The pseudo RNG means that out of my 10 next games I WILL get 4 games as mid 3 as jungle 2 as support and 1 as top, and then the RNG is reset for my 10 next games insuring the % is always true.

Autofill shouldn't apply to people in promotion series and could stop being needed at all since people would queue for more roles (and support too) knowing they're the ones choosing how willing they are to play any role and knowing they're not gonna get a secondary role all the time (who said support ?...).

PICK AND BANS :

The 6 first bans happen the same as today. Then it's dynamic banning. Could be like this :

TEAM A : PICK 1/BAN 1 TEAM B : PICK 2/BAN 1 TEAM A : PICK 2/BAN 1 TEAM B : PICK 2/BAN 1 and then the final picks.
