2 Tips To Get out of Bronze (They worked for me)

Hey all! Last season I managed to get out of bronze, I will share 2 tips that I followed that helped me get out.

  • Don't take stupid risks.

I realized after many gray screens, a lot of my deaths were tied to taking stupid risks and HOPING I would win the coin toss. One example of this is pushing too hard. 9/10 times, this is how you end up feeding someone. Your pushing into tower, and at this point not even a ward can save you from the enemy jungler (unless its a deep ward and you cant spot them coming for your lane from a camp or something). Your to deep. They gank, your enemy laner gets a kill, they snowball, things get worse. This could have simply been avoided if you thought before you pushed! Its a fairly simple and obvious consept to be honest, but many low Elo players test their luck and it almost always goes bad for you unless you are fed. Realize your boundaries and don't push to hard if you don't know where the jungler is. Same thing goes for enemy roams. If you see that their top laner is MIA and you didn't see him go B with your own eyes, don't push!

  • Don't fight your lane opponent if you are behind

If the enemy laner is 2/0 and your a lower level, DONT FIGHT THEM! You can easily play safe early and comeback later by just farming. A lot of times I hear the excuse that 'They are tower diving and I can't do anything.' If this is happening to you, either you already fed them to a point where that's just going to happen or your staying in lane for too long with not enough health. Now this one can be tricky when you are versing someone like Zed or Katarina or whoever. What I would suggest is make a movie in your head of the best-case-scenario dive that your enemy could perform. If you die in your movie, ask for a gank or go back to fountain. Also it is important to keep track of abilities and summoner spells. If Miss Fortune has ult and you are pretty low, why stay? If Lucian has heal and has the ability to dive you and get out safely, LEAVE! Its not worth the risk!

I swear to you, If you just use these 2 tips you will see improvement. I promise.

Good Luck in the Fields of Justice!
