Why remove ranked teams, again?

Why have riot decided to remove ranked teams and replace it with flex when it is no way near the same thing?

First of all I feel that removing ranked teams takes away a lot of fun playing 5 premades and "try harding" so to say. It was fun to have a team to all stand behind instead of having a flex rank that has 0 team feeling over it.

And secondly, what I find most annoying is that u can't play serious with people that are more than one division ahead or behind. For example those I often play with are in divisions altering from bronze to diamond. When we were 5 people it would be fun to play team ranked instead of playing blind pick after blind pick. If Riot intend to never have team ranked again, atleast make flex open to play with each other no matter division. If there's a lot of division s between players in a team the will never reach the top teams and will hence have 0 influence on the bracket, so why not let people play with each other instead of removing the possibility to do so?

Would be glad if someone with more insight in Riots decision making to give answer to the above
