Morgana a tad bit overbearing with Thunderlord's and FQC

Morgana still has her weaknesses, but the problem is that in lane she generates these massive gold leads simply from sticking a w under the feet of the enemy laner, from which she can generate all 3 stacks of Thunderord's and all 3 charges of Frost Queen's claims gold income passive. I think the best way to solve this is to make it so that DOT abilities don't proc Frost Queen's on their own. It's OK for them to consume 2 charges, but champs like Morgana abuse this ability to no end. I don't believe nerfing Thunderlord's in the same way would be a good idea, as certain champions rely on single spells generating all of it's stacks so that they don't run OOM.

The interaction is balanced for a few reasons. Her Auto range is only 450 making it kind of dangerous to walk up and auto enemies while in lane. Okay so she uses her abilities to get stacks. Other than her W (which has a reasonably high mana cost and longish cooldown so you cant spam it for stacks) only 2 of her abilites generate stacks: Her Q which is pretty easy to dodge, and is on a long cooldown making it sub-optimal for using frostqueens stacks, and her ult which you shouldn't be using to use stacks of frostqueens unless you're an idiot. Other champions that get frostqueens tend to have a longer auto range, and the ability to spam spells.

Just change Thunderlords(not nerf).

Dealing damage 2 times makes your next attack proc it.

Meaning her pool will easily charge it up. But she has to either land a binding or AA the charged target.

This would solve a LOT of problems that Thunderlords has caused. Because it actually comes with risk to that power. No more sitting in the back procing it with a single spell. On top of this it actually gives it that thing Riot loves, counterplay.

morg needs a small nerf tbh

her base damages are a bit high for how much utility she carries

Morgana is a bit too strong compared to the alternatives but not for any reason beyond "The other AP champs are crippled/bad".

This is why the mage update is coming this season... Riot knows that most of the mages are pure unadulterated garbage.

Morgana in relation to other champions is perfectly balanced. She only appears OP comparing to useless pieces of Lamia like Cassiopeia.

a) To have Thunderlords proc from only W, the other player must be a potato. Or put himself in a bad position way too often. It is possible to proc it like 1/3 - 1/4 times against an average player, but that is hardly the amount of damage anyone could call broken.

b) W proc's FQC fairly easily, but let's be honest, Morgana has no other ways of getting those stacks. Unless you call Q a "reliable" way or go frontline with your puny AA range.

c) Her ult is as shit as ever due to everyone and their mom having a zillion of blinks and escapes. Also very close range.

Morg is so broken. Kappa.

...seriously, she's a niche counterpick at best right now. Pre-6 she may be good, but post 6 she literally has no ult until Zhonyas/tank items (assuming her enemies aren't bags of bricks and don't let her walk up for free). Think of any other support whose ult sucks so much and try talking again.

The fact that this account is literally Morg only and I still think picking Morg into anything but Blitz and maybe Thresh/Ali (if you want a safe lane for a hypercarry) is not good - it should say a lot.
