Whatever happened to making him less "no brain required?" They were on the right track by giving him a window to use his ult after a successful kill. Even then, the window was far too big. Now they're just giving him his entire ult back? Literally his entire ult. Mana cost and cooldown refunded. Why? Because he managed to chunk someone. His ult already deals over a thousand true damage, he shouldn't be able to do it five times in a row and then still have it up. What kills me is how easy it would be to fix this, too.

  1. Shift the damage to physical, that way we can actually do something about it.

  2. Put a hard cap instead of having it just flat-out double.

  3. Refund a portion of the cooldown or a portion of the mana cost, not all of both.

  4. Have his ult deal up to double damage if the target is alone and 10% less per additional target.

  5. Change his ult to an AoE leap that deals double damage to a single target and 10% less per additional target in range, allowing him to use it as a gap closer even if he fails to get the kill.

Any of these would be better than just giving him even more power for no reason other than him finally having a weakness. That's not balance. Either tweak the damage or play up the duelist angle. You should not just be given a penta because of your character choice.

And keep in mind the reason you took almost this exact function of his ult away in the first place. It was broken then and it's broken now.

Yes, clearly Darius is a broken champion, you have provided a well-organized and truly, truly amazing argument that not even Yenn himself would be able to dispute.

Double the damage? Why not? That will fix him.
