Nasus needs a nerf

I have had enough. Nasus is so absolutely broken and over powered in lower elo's. Everyone always says the way to shut down Nasus is to deny him farm or shut him down while in reality this is pretty much impossible. As a top laner I have played against many Nasus players and in some games I do manage to deny him farm and get a few kills on him but it dosnt matter at all. As long as the League player can mange to hit Q decides if they will be an unstoppable monster. The lack of counter play is really disappointing and when you loose to a Nasus you just feel like you have no control over it. It seems like people like Nasus and Yi never get nerfed because because in higher elo's people can manage these champs and can play around them but what I dont get is that the community in lower elo's is stuck loosing games because players with more experience and skill can mange these champions. Now the higher elo people being able to manage these champions while lower elo people cannot is not bad and i understand that having more experience is what makes these broken champions not played in higher elos but why is it that the majority of the community is in lower elo's struggling with these chapions while riot only nerfs or buffs champions that have an impact on the lower percentage of higher elo players . There is a very easy fix to the way Nasus could be balanced. Evey time Nasus dies he looses a percentage of his stacks. Its really as simple as that. That would make it so that people playing against a Nasus feel like punishing him early can actually impact how overpowered he becomes because all a Nasus has to do is sit in lane and it dosnt matter how many times he dies all he has to do is farm and eventually he will be able to carry the game.

Even in bronze nasus often sucks.

Literally most nasus games, unless he is playing against someone who doesn't know who to pick into him or how to play against him like you, he is useless til like 30 + min when he finally gets some q farm, and by then its too late.

Nasus is super prone to being kited because he has no gapcloser. Personally I like gnar to deal with him.

Nasus is weak. Just a little CC and he can be kited all day.

Denying him farm is only one option. You can also pick a powerful roaming champion to snowball other lanes. Or you can pick a tank with a good teamfight. If your team has peel, you will be worth much more in team fights.

You don't balance a game around the lower skill levels if you want it to be remotely competitive. When clear counter-play exists and some players are simply incapable of using it, then the issue lies with the players involved.

This game has never and will never be balanced around Bronze play; it is a horrible idea to do so if you want the game to actually balanced.

You balance the game around players who are actually competent.

Nasus is far from overpowered. He has to work hard to gain his power and doesn't get it for free like so many other top laners who have over loaded kits with true damage or % health damage. Nasus is easily kited by competent teams and coordinated play. He struggles with probably 90% of the roster who comes top lane as most have much better early game than he does and can successfully harass and deny him farm.

He is also not broken and having his sustained damage fall off, that he has to work to get, for getting killed is an ignorant and biased request. Also gutting his slow is equally unreasonable. He has 1 count 1 targeted CC which is his only means of engage and disengage and is not that useful in a team fight.

The game is balanced among all ranks of play with higher elo being one of the bigger deciding factors however if you look at Nasus he is hardly played in higher elo's aside from those few who main him and have taken the path to truly master him and he is considered a non meta pick because of his delayed ramp up time.

You lose games because you do not play well with your team it is as simple as that. No one champion carries the entire game it is always a coordinated effort and cooperation among you and your team mates to win. Ask for ganks, rotate lanes, take objectives force unfavorable team fights for the other team and there are so many more ways to win a game but if you choose to play one way just because you see an enemy Nasus then that is the fault of the player not the champion.

So instead of asking for a trash tier nerf without any considerable compensation I suggest you refrain from making posts on a champion you clearly don't understand. I am sorry if this comes out harsh but there is no cookie cutter answer for the truth and if you don't want to take my word for it look at all the down voting your comment has received. You are clearly in a small majority of the community that legitimately believes Nasus is OP.

in lower elo

no one cares.

if hes not nearly as strong in high ranked games as in low ranked games, there must be something youre doign wrong against him. if youre doing something wrong, then its up to you to find out what that is and stop making these mistakes.

if youre signing up for professional football, but youre too fat to play and too lazy to train, its not the responsibility of the ref to break the other players legs.

ShenNudes4/24/2016, 9:37:07 PM1 votes

its not that its just that anything you do to him in lane it just goes unpunished since he can just farm and carry.

you spelled "lose" wrong

I've made about 3 threads on Nasus myself. It's the items he abuses like Iceborn and spirit, giving him such cooldown reduction which makes his slow a perma slow.

It's already a point and click.

It slows you 90% or more which is huge.

He can then use it right away again on you, and keep you slowed perma cause of the items

He needs to have that skill on a higher CD, or the slow itself shouldn't be 90% cause there is no getting away from him. Yes he needs a gap closer of some sort, but it's simple when it's a 90% slow. It's simple when it's a point and click. Simple especially when it becomes a perma slow.

Anyhow, that's my problem with him is his perma slow he ends up having. He's OP enough without the slow cause he can 2 shot turrets late game which is insane, and crush you. Basically he usually gets his 2 big items no matter how much you shut him down. You just gotta hope the other team surrenders and isn't smart enough to try to drag it onto late game.

At the end of the day, I'm ok with his damage, but not the slow he abuses. He has lots of counterplay, but yeah he gets annoying when he reaches certain item spikes.

And people say "buff turrets" and make thousands of threads on begging Riot to make turrets stronger. This would give Nasus the biggest buff he could ever dream for. He would never have to worry about losing his turret and will just farm as much as he wants until late game.

If Nasus is such a braindead ezmode champion then why aren't you playing him to gain freelo?

Arakadia6/14/2016, 2:19:03 AM1 votes

You could deny him farm, peel this so easilly kited champion, get armor, fight 4v5's when he's just stacking. He's not broken.

Your idea for nerfing him would be such a gigantic gut. If you did that you would have to make him get more stacks per Q and that would make him so damn snowbally and worse balance wise.
