To suggest that juggernauts are the issue of top lane "hard counters" or the origins of such

Is pure delusion.

The only times juggernauts hard counter anything top lane is tank matchups. I can't think of many bruisers, including divers and skirmishers, that lose hard to anything within the juggernaut roster that is played top lane.

Sure, there are some cancerous juggernaut designs (looking at you trundle and nasus, the kings of stat check in the juggy world), but a lot of the juggernauts actually have glaring weaknesses that can be exploited by a ton of the top lane roster, even many tanks can exploit these weaknesses enough to turn juggernaut matchups into more skill-oriented matchups.

Meanwhile shit like Gnar and Pantheon and Akali exist.

In any case, I find it very intriguing that a post stating juggernauts to be one of the core issues behind the "rock paper scissor" nature of top lane has gained so much popularity. Seems more like someone just got shat on by playing a juggernaut lane poorly.
