AP based CC, % Heal / Shield, MPen, premitigated damage

Hey guys,

Goofy title, I know. I just wanted to discuss some of the MR per level stuff on the PBE.

My thoughts for a while have been that Enchanters kind of have a hard time getting AP because of abuse in the other lanes. So, we see the % heal and shield come in and that seems kind of nice, but it leaves the question of whether or not supports really even need AP to function and if they are healthy in a solo lane getting AP. I hate seeing gimic ratios like Leona who has AP ratios on all her abilities, yet isnt viable at all with AP.

So you get into the idea of perhaps letting EVERYONE have more AP, but increase MR across the board to level out damage. This lets supports have utility that scales with AP right? Just have to tune down their heals and shield ratios a bit to compensate, give mages more MPen options, and perhaps let supports do more with premitigated damage ala Athenes synergy with Ludens and such.

So Idk, I just felt like ranting a bit, but I wanted to run it by anyone willing to discuss their thoughts on it all. I'm sort of trying to figure out what the new framework would need to be to make Zeke's better and to make supports have useful AP ratios and like, Im just playing with item ideas and its kind of a big big picture problem.
