SUPER Support Items!

Since season 1, there have been some good support items, some bad ones, and then a few that could only be described as beyond outstanding. The original Aegis of the Legion was one of these incredible items; either someone on your team bought one or you often wish you had! Often times teams had 2 of them! Runic Bulwark was even better albeit more expensive, because of all its resistances and then as an added bonus it gave even more buffs to nearby minions! item 3190 is now what Runic Bulwark was, but the difference in stat value and the lack of buffs for allied minions are apparent to say the least. Shurelya's Reverie was item 3069, except it came with health and built out of the infamous Philosopher's Stone; granted Talisman is a lot better now than it was at one point. The late Twin Shadows was an item built by virtually anyone with AP - I'd see those goofy ghosts just about every game before it was removed as well.

And now item 3107 continues League of Legend's legacy of bonkers support items with insane actives. They are the heaviest reworked and removed support items by far, and it's because they are the most influential and also the most fun to use. Large teamfights can be decided on a well-placed Redemption active or whether or not a team has a Locket.

But Redemption could easily be removed just like Twin Shadows, Runic Bulwark and many others, once many support items are gone. Heck, Locket and even Talisman could go the way of the dinosaur as well, and then Riot would have to come up with more ideas that may or may not get to stick around either.

But I believe they can all be saved. Behold! The "Super Support Item"!
Comparable to Trinity Force, but primarily for supports:

  • All of the most powerful item actives in LoL history
  • Their required items are all popular support items
  • They require two item slots instead of one
  • Their total cost is a LOT. At least ~3500

With the very real cost of taking up two item slots, these new items can help bring back old powerful actives while justifying the newer ones as well. Feel free to come up with one yourself - you don't even have to sweat the numbers here! Just post:

  • A name (can be entirely new or just an old item's name)
  • The items that build into this item
  • Generally what stats it could
  • Passives, if any (specific numbers not necessary)
  • The active, bare minimum the mentioning of an old or current active and any changes

Example: Runic Bulwark item 3190 + item 3211 Lots of MR, some health and armor Buffs nearby allies' MR a lot, armor by half of that amount, plus about +15 hp regen. Gives these buffs to nearby minions as well, and minions' bonuses are multiplied by 1.5! Active: Locket's active shield but even bigger and given to minions as well!

That's the idea; these items cost a lot, they're built from solid items, they take up two item slots so that non-supports are deterred from buying them and their actives are incredibly strong. Feel free to post your idea for a "Super Support Item"!
