How do I know when it is ok/not ok to feed?

So far in this new patch, I have played 10 games. 9 of those games I had at least 3 but sometimes 4 of my teammates feed at least twice as many kills as they got themselves.. yet not a single one of them has been punished. I decided since it was totally ok for over 30 of my teammates to feed and ruin MY games within 24 hours, that it must be OK for me to feed, yet after I fed for 1 single game(I fed 1 game out of a total 48 viewable on op.gg), I was instantly banned for 14 days. I need to know what situations it is OK to feed and ruin games in, and what situations it is unacceptable to feed and ruin games in. Riot refuses to give me any clarification so I turn to the community, in the event that I do become unbanned after 14 days, I want to know when I can feed and when I can not feed so I don't get punished again as I want to reform. I am unclear as to why my teammates are allowed to ruin game after game after game for me for season after season, yet when I decide to do it literally once I get instantly banned. I'm not sure if it has to do with my race, the shape of my eyes, the color of my skin or my income level... but at this point I have to assume it is just racial discrimination as I don't have a history of feeding, but I do have a history of CONSTANTLY having teammates ruin my games. When I try to play well, give advice and use pings correctly, I get reported for being "toxic" and "trying hard" and when I don't try to win I get reported for being "toxic" and "feeding". Since I was punished for using text in a video game, I learned my lesson and completely stopped using text at all in game as to avoid getting a permanent ban, which is unfortunate because the game relies very highly on communication and cooperation... so what am I supposed to do exactly? Thank you in advance to anyone who has any real, logical advice.

It's only against the rules to feed if you are doing so deliberately for the sole purpose of putting your team at a disadvantage.

Not against the rules:

  1. New player feeds because they don't understand how the game works.
  2. Player tries experimenting with something odd like AD Heimerdinger but it doesn't work and they end up feeding.
  3. Player decides to drink a few beers while playing league, but ends up feeding because of the alcohol and not taking the game seriously.
  4. Player ends up feeding because they play very aggressively and inconsistently, with lots of failed tower-dives, etc.
  5. Player ends up feeding because they are struggling while learning a new champion or role.

Against the rules:

  1. Intentionally feeding in order to take revenge on a teammate who made you angry.
  2. Intentionally feeding because someone on the enemy team offered to pay you to throw the game.
  3. Intentionally feeding to cause your team to lose quickly because you want to surrender but your team voted not to.
  4. Intentionally feeding to try to extort a ransom from your team.
  5. Intentionally feeding purely because you enjoy griefing to making your teammates upset.
  6. Intentionally feeding to lose games in order to decrease your MMR.

Your post sounds like you were intentionally feeding in order to take revenge on the community by griefing random people because you are an angry, self-centered, malicious, vindictive person. You should reflect on that and try to reform.

Also, your comments about race makes me wonder if you could possibly be actually insane. How would Riot or your teammates know the color of your skin or shape of your eyes? Are you assuming someone guessed your race by your display name (Crusader suggests European-descent, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are)? Were you spouting racism or trying to bait racism from your teammates in the game you were banned for? Otherwise, how would they possibly know what race you are and why would they care? It sounds to me like this could be part of why you were punished.

you have no idea if those people were ever punished. you fed, so you get punished.

it's like if you were driving down the street lets say in a 35MPH street, you and the guy in front of you are hauling ass going 75. a cop pulls you over since you are in back the guy in front of you keeps going. The cop walks up to you and you say "BUT OFFICER THAT GUY WAS SPEEDING TOO, WHY ARE YOU STOPPING ME?!?!?!?"

you fed, you admitted to doing it YOU get punished for what YOU do.
