Why did you sacrifice so much of Garen's kit in the name of one ult change?

I don't see how his true damage will help him scale better late game when he will now not be able to do anything of what he did before because virtually all the things that were there to make up for him being a melee without any ranged skill were removed (except his slow removal on Q, I suppose, but I bet you were tempted to remove it as well).

How can I even get lategame when everyone will bully me out of lane now thanks to no scaling on Q, a massively downgraded W which isn't even worth taking it as a one point wonder anymore and E damage nerf?

And why did you think that it was a good idea to homogenize his build path even further by making crit useless on him?

In the name of just giving him a contextual true damage ult.
