How to freeze a lane with sion sion mains please help

So I've been playing your boy sion, he's so fun to play, especially into people like teemo or tryndamere (plus anyone who truly relies on snowballing top lane) but I have a problem

I can lane freeze with just about any other champion, but with sion, it just seems like I can't ever get it right. Even with just using basic autos I can't seem to get it. Please help, and thanks for the advice [slayer-jinx-catface]
