Actually no he is hard to do well in fights He is pretty squishy and can be killed easily by any adc or assassin

but the reason why he gets the hate is his W and E , his E gives him perma mobility his W blocks almost everything for the whole team , that what makes it annoying , I know he is squishy but I prefer if his W is something similar to Fiora W , she only protects herself and in 0.75 seconds only , not protecting the whole team for few seconds , that's why , he almost makes any adc useless in the fight untill wall goes
