Hey guys. I’ve soon got 4800 BE and I want to get an AP jungler (I already have Evelynn). I’m interested in Elise cause I like the way she’s very strong early with clearing and ganking, plus she’s a good snowballer. I know she falls off late game etc. Is she worth getting? (I’ve heard a lot of shit about her)
If you would enjoy playing her then yes. If you want to win, then it's debatable.
Honestly she's kind of a worse Lee Sin. She and Lee are meant to occupy the same space of early game fighter/assassin that falls off into a CC bruiser. But Lee has CC that's much easier to land in that it's point and click with no reduction to the duration, his R. Plus his move speed slow is also easier to use. Elise has to land her E and it's her only real option to be useful later in the game. Not to mention Lee has better items currently as AP junglers are doing pretty poorly right now. Plus the change to Liandrys to remove the spell pen hurt her, in addition to some of the other item changes. As well, her E is super clunky and hard to control sometimes, like you will use it and it will immediately cast again if you move your mouse over someone which can make you descend too early. In all Elise just isn't that great right now unless you're playing out of your skill bracket.
Depends how good you are. If you like mechanical champs that require skill, congratulations, this is your champ. But if you can't play a champ with 6 abilities, then maybe back off a bit.
I op.gg'd you. Your Karma is 50/50 and LB isnt very good. I'd call that you shouldn't use Elise. I didn't check for the last season though, so if you can play Karma like a god, then yes. Elise is a good choice for you.
I personally, would not use Elise. She's only viable in JG, and top Elise is just trash. I'd save up for Ekko, build on hit AP and off lane mid.
She kinda sucks. I keep giving her chances but idk. Her kit is super hard to conduct.
She's barely worth playing in her current state and I should know, I main her and it feels bad
