Good job nerfing every support without any kind of compensation

Shields? Nerfed, Heals? Nerfed, Duration of buffs? NERFED and not a single compensation buff was give to any kind of support, supports are already struggling with this 1-shot/100-0 meta and now they might as well die.

Remember the time only one assassin item ( ) got nerfed and literally every assassin got a compensation buff for it? Now literally EVERY support item and EVERY support shield champion got nerfed without ONE DAMN SINGLE COMPENSATION BUFF, sounds like Riot's balance team.

Good job containing the 1-shotters now, like Zed, Fizz, Talon and Kata, you can't even protect your teammates anymore, might as well play Zed support since death is the best CC and best way of protecting your team now is by killing others before they kill you.

Everyone is COMPLAINING about the damage creep in this game and guess what? They nerf the only thing that decreases/protects you from the damage, now that's a true balance, good one Riot, I almost believed that you know how to balance your game and how to listen to community feedback.

It's a galore now, have fun containing them, this is literally every assassins wet dream.

The shield nerfs themselves were good thinking although arguably poorly timed but oh my god why would they not give compensation buffs (especially to Karma ) is absolutely beyond me.

It was a nerf that would've made sense if applied exactly a year earlier.

Now, and without compensation, it makes NO SENSE AT ALL. If you're not going to reduce the damage globally, WHILE adding anti-shield mechanics into champions - don't touch the shields.

I legitimately do not understand why the playerbase/Riot are entirely okay with Kai'sa right clicking for 1000 DPS, but the instant enchanters are somewhat half viable? GUTTED! Never mind that they're still being crowded out of bot lane by the likes of Brand, Vel'koz, and Veigar.

Am I the only one who thought the nerfs weren't really that bad? Now you actually have to cast it in response to aggression instead of just pressing E on Janna/Lulu whenever you feel like it to let your ADC free-farm for the next 6 seconds.

I was scared they were going to nerf the numbers by like 10% or something stupid like that but all they did was increase the risk/skill floor.

Janna/Soraka have been nerfed a million times and still never fall even close to 50% win rates.

It's already hard enough to climb with shield supports 'cause there isn't much carry potential so if you get a bad team it's an insta loss

And now we're just gonna get one shotted by all the assasins because we're already squishy enough and now we have even less protection

I don't understand how people can despise supports that much. It's okay for Fizz to press 4 buttons or Zed to press R and miss 2 abilities killing another player but supports should be not be able to do something because it's your job to kill? Well guess what, it is our job to make yours diffcult. If you go in a 2v1 knowing the supp has ult and items up and you die, it's your fault. If you can go in and out making the adc + supp use their cds, you did your job. Assassins have lower cd so they can go back 1min later and finish the job.

No support is overpowered they just have a different role and people think because they can't 2v1 or 3v1, when supports are around the role is op. Only Janna and Lulu had the incredibly long lasting shields. Healing was in no way op. If it's such a big problem buy an item/take ignite/OR JUST KILL THE SUPP FIRST. Games aren't supposed to be 30-10 at 20min and supports are one of the few things in league that can prevent snowballing. Some people want the role to be completely meaningless just because it's different.

Furthermore please stop talking about "skill". If you find supports SO easy to play since they are able to impede your "high skill expression" without "skill" consider playing easier champs and stop blaming an entire class for doing their job.

honestly supports are the reason why assassin must oneshot everything they touch with a little counterplay,supports that can throw point click shields and heals and they need an insane damage for going through it

if support peel become less oppressive assassins can get a nice nerf (saying that as assassin player,oneshoting someone in 0.2 sec isn't fair Rengar )

anyway it's not a big nerf,you just have to time your shield better,the strength is the same

I like how everyone is up in arms about supports getting nerfed but ADCs get systematically made useless and all,"you have to adapt." Hypocritical.

That said, I dont feel they should have nerfed the supports when they already trashed the ADCs. Now neither will be worth playing.

this should have happened months ago lol. supports are blatantly overpowered with cheap and effective items and now a lot of gold income since you don't have to buy sightstone. one shield shouldn't be able to make an entire class useless

yes, i too enjoyed lulu negating everything i did with the press of a button. Did assassins need buffs? no, did supports need nerfs? yes. thing is we got both so now we're just being fucked by another class.

They only nerfed shielding and healing reliant champions. You've other options aswell. Alistar Leona Blitzcrank Fiddlesticks Thresh Braum Nautilus etc. Which provide good enough cc against assassins.

I get that shield stacking is a problem. Nerfing the durations though was, imo, not the best way to deal with shields.

The item changes were hardly anything. If you got all 3 items (good luck with that) you went from a 1.4x multiplier to a 1.31x. More than likely you just got item 3504 item 3107 so you lost a whopping 4%.

The duration change is bigger, but it just means you have to actually time your spells to negate damage, instead of just being Lulu and having 100% shield uptime.
