Udyr: Thoughts and Discussion
Let's just jump right into things:
~ Udyr is cool with the fact that you can "customize" his level ups since he has 4 abilities rather than 3 + ultimate. We can double dip into this aspect and make his abilities up to 6 ranks to allow players an even greater ray of customization, like not having a single point in one of his abilities if you so choose with the other 3 being just slightly more powerful.
~ It would be nice to move Udyr away from feeling like his identity is a basic attacking (not completely removed) tank and make his actives feel like actives, still keeping the stances to be clear, but the actives will feel like actives rather than 4 glorified basic attacks with the persistent stances.
~ Udyr needs some love with having him better against mobile champions and tone back his power against immobile champions.
~ Take away power from Udyr of his running away capabilities, this will allow him to get power elsewhere and reduce frustrating elements when against Udyr.
Concept Kit Below! Numbers are examples only and taken with less than a grain of salt; same goes for the ideas!
Monkey's Agility (Passive): Every ability cast grants Udyr 15% bonus attacks speed, up to 45%, for 5 seconds. Upon reaching 3 stacks Udyr gains 32%[+1% per level] bonus movement speed and ignores unit collision for 3 seconds, this effect occurs once every 6 seconds.
Whenever Udyr casts an ability his other abilities go on cooldown for 2 seconds.
Tiger Stance (Q): Cooldown: 6 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 250 units / 180 degrees Persistent Effect: Every 3rd basic attack causes Udyr's target to bleed for 15/30/45/60/75/90(+60/65/70/75/80/85%AD) physical damage over 2 seconds.
Active: Udyr slashes out claws in the target direction dealing 40/60/80/100/120/140(+85%AD) physical damage to struck enemies and applying Tiger Stance's bleed.
Turtle Stance (W): Cooldown: 6 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 400 units Persistent Effect: Every 3rd basic attack heals Udyr for 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5/4% of his maximum health, increases by 1% per 1% health he is missing.
Active: Udyr covers the area around him in a large shell applying Turtle Stance's heal for every enemy champion and epic monster struck, slowing by 25/30/35/40/45/50% for 2 seconds, and shielding himself for 50/80/110/140/170/200(+50%AP) shield for 5 seconds.
Bear Stance (E): Cooldown: 6 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 350/400/450/500/550/600 units Persistent Effect: Udyr's first basic attack stuns struck enemies for 1/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds, this can occur once every 6 seconds against the same target.
Active: Udyr lunges in the target direction, stopping at terrain or the first enemy struck, applying Bear Stance's stun against the struck enemy if applicable.
Phoenix Stance (R): Cooldown: 6 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 600 units Persistent Effect: Casting Phoenix Stance enhances Udyr's next basic attack or every 3rd basic attack applies a cone of flames to and behind Udyr's target dealing 30/60/90/120/150/180(+40%AP) magic damage.
Active: Udyr let's out a burst of flames around him that scorches the ground for 5 seconds dealing 1/1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5%(+3% per 100AP) of Udyr's maximum health as magic damage per second. Enemies standing within these flames are dealt 50% increased damage from Phoenix Stance's cone of flames.
