This is just terrible design. Why double gold? I had 24k gold in 38 minutes. He does so many things well, and he is entirely too safe, but on top of all that, you give him DOUBLE GOLD!? just give him the kill gold. Can we please get some feedback on why this champ isn't being nerfed or sightly reworked to be less safe? Meanwhile, dozens of champs are left in the gutter

Edit: Snowballing is not the issue, it's fine for an assassin. Being full build at level 12 is the problem

Yeah, that's... That is just not right. If a single champion has full build at level 12, that can easily win a game before the other team even gets to 18. Pyke's kind of ridiculous right now, but for some reason they thought this was okay to release. I think the balance team might be engaging in sabotage.

Glad people are catching on to the fact that game balance is so broken that games are decided in first 5-10 minutes. And the rest of the 10-15 minutes is an exercise in futility

dude you literally have 20% wr with pyke...... IN NORMALS you have barely ever played pyke in ranked and i have to break it to u, a champion that is insanely fed will snowball pyke has trash engage, and he gets locked on and bursted very hard. yes, his passive needs a little nerf but the only reason his kit is good is because of his r reset

Pike's ult is just dumb in so many ways.

Ranged AoE execute that recharges CD Darius style and gives extra gold… you can make three different ultimates with this thing.

Also, when Pike gets a kill alone, he ""assists"" himself and gets double gold. The first time I saw it, I thougth it was a bug.

Riot designed Pyke to make support more appealing to ad assassin players, who would otherwise dodge/troll if auto-filled into support. Is Pyke a sack of design bullshit ? - Yes. Is an 'assassin support' a contradiction in terms ? - Yes. Are queue times reduced now because Pyke is available to players who would not normally accept the support rule ? - Who knows....

Any fucking idiot could take an assassin (yes, pyke is an assassin-support) and snowball. If this can prove a champ is OP then oooo boy im about to hop on my low lvl acc and body some fools with any champ I want it to be nerfed xD
