@Riot How much would removing auto-fill hurt queue times?

Personally, I don't really mind being auto filled in my elo since i've played every role up to gold, but i realize there are a lot of people who never play certain roles or only have 2 rune pages etc... Also, how crap is it to have like a top lane melee champ main, who never plays bot autofilled into bot lane against someone who mains bot? This kind of thing just ruins a match made game.

I'm ok with people being filled into support. Honestly, everyone should know how to do it, and most support champs aren't mechanically intensive at all so I think it is ok to fill someone to support. But put someone who doesn't ever play mid or adc or jg into those roles? It pretty much ruins a game if the team won't swap roles in champ select.
