it seems whenever i play top either the enemy counterpicks me and i cant play safe enough to not feed him or i counterpick the enemy but the enemy has a billion mastery points, goes ignite, and wins against me anyway. besides that id like to know what top laners i should main or learn how to play that are good in many situations and arnt squishy because 9 times out of 10 when i play a squishy top laner that isnt gangplank i feed
Trundle is great choice, has sustain, hard to die, can build full tank and be extremely relevant. Can get kills easily post 6. Nothing really counters him and he counters everything.
1st find a nice tank since you are top. someone you like and can spam. 2nd its sounds like you dont know your champ or your match up. there really is no counter pick just people who know how to abuse certain abilities
example i pick sion into gnar BUT Gnar is supposed to be a counter pick to sion and i never loos the match up because i know how to poke with his E and abuse the armor shred
