Remember Riot Talking About Changes To Ranked?
I remember, and i'd like to post some collected thoughts.
- Why i think Bronze is so horrible, being one my self, a Bronzie.
Lack of significant information about how to play correctly given to Low ELO player's. I think that this being a Competitive game it would make sense for Riot to give more tips towards newer player's about getting better, other than "If you get 15 Minions it's worth more than a kill." because what it comes down to in bronze is a complete lack of Gameplay Knowledge. IE, how to properly Push Lanes, Shove Lanes, Freeze, Jungle pathing, When to Roam, when not to roam, Itemization all of these things were things that I didn't know when i started 2 year's ago(I've only player 30 ranked games in my life though.) so i think this would be a nice start, giving new player's a lot more tips through some sort of notification system, such as links to youtube videos or something. Oh and for god's sake change the tutorial(i think they are but still).
- Why is Diamond so horrible?
The easiest way to get to Diamond is to one trick a champion, there are sooooooooo many one tricks up in diamond and platinum that honestly it's really hard to get your champion, and in many cases nowadays since Auto Fill occurred, it can take 6+ games to get your main role. This i believe is getting addressed though it's still annoying that auto fill is a thing and it severely hurt's Diamond player's in particular, not to mention some games can be pretty one sided when it comes to matching due to the the vast majority of player's being well bellow diamond, meaning in some games if your Diamond V you can end up with plat player's on your team but Diamond 2 and 1 player's on the enemy team.
I personally prefer to play Norms, mainly because i hated the ranked climb the second i tried it, i'v still been playing since late season 5 though so i think my opinion of ranked does matter a little bit and could help out with getting different perspectives on the matter.
Side Note: I've been spamming Evelynn since before her rework so i could main since she's my favorite champion, i'll eventually get to ranked but it seems like such a choir because of all of those things above, especially in bronze, when i first started and went into ranked, it was horrific, nearly quit the game, hated it just saying.
