What happen to Aatrox's Abilities?

Hello, ive used Aatrox, and i know his abilities. but i meet him today, and he had a few new abilities. What happen? do you get new abilities if your higher level? Its hard enough to learn this game with the amount of champions, but this is ridiculos.
