Ranking System

I was silver 3 last season. Won 7 placement games lost 3 games puts me bronze 4? Like seriously why? This is ridiculous. I had friend was in silver 3 got placed in silver 1 but for me bronze 4? Like seriously?..... This on my other account not on my main I don't to go back to Bronze 5 on this account.
