Just a rant on the new role based ranking system

After an extended bit of time away from the game (and taking glances at game-play and systemic changes once in a blue moon) I delved into ranked queue this month. Things were progressing as I would expect, came into my series for Gold V, (IV I suppose), and found that I was put onto Jungle, I asked to trade with Bot to no avail... Surprisingly we won. Wonderful. Of course I saw that i was in provisional games for Jungle in post-game and any feeling of accomplishment I had left immediately.

Absolutely ridiculous, I hate playing Jungle, I will never be proud of playing it well, allow me to be graded on my overall merit. I'm sure it helps my other roles rank in some round-about way but in what world is that satisfying? This and the changes towards what your loading screen border represents really put a damper on someone who is motivated by garbage like that. I abide by the overall disgusting nature of the people I encounter in ranked games for what? I enjoy the game as I play it, but these changes do not reward my love.
