The video's a bit of an exaggeration, since Rengar's clearly significantly ahead of that Kha'Zix in that video (and likely already completed the Hunt event for that extra AD), but the end result is still that Rengar can kill people reliably with little they can do against it when he has enough damage. As a diver-assassin hybrid with access to healing, hard CC and CC removal, Rengar should be taking the most time out of any assassin to kill his targets, not the least. His rework set out to spread out his burst window, but while it does usually take him a bit longer to kill targets, he still has too little counterplay when ahead, and is still very snowbally. Once he gets brought down to normal power, he'll likely be in a spot very similar to pre-rework Rengar, where he'll be excessively binary and prone to either killing without counterplay, or not being able to contribute reliably at all.
Alright, the thing I notice here is that rengar is level 18, whereas kha'zix is level 16; in other words, we don't know the gold disparity between the two.
A fed assassin can of course delete a being from existence, you can't just give a clip of an assassin killing someone because that assassin could be 12/0/0 and the kha'zix 0/8/0.
I'd like to see the fully story of this, AKA the stats of both of them.
And it was exactly what I thought; rengar was, at the end of the game, 18/8/13, versus kha'zix being 4/11/1.
Exaggerations aside... assassins have pretty much always done this. Even when rengar was reworked the first time, people immediately figured out how to replicate the "triple Q" post rework, to "instantly kill" a target as the pre-rework rengar. Assassins are designed to kill, and that's what people try to get them to do; kill with no hope of retaliation, which riot (and the victims) dislike.

Underfed kha, two levels behind and 5k gold, builds no defensive and dies.....
Kha also means bone tooth goes from 30% at 5 kills to 42%.

I have no idea how rengar mains do that. Tried this "one-shotting" myself... And nope, simply can't do that.
But, I do still kill people. Simply instead of 0,5s in about 1s or so (by spamming Q lol), which is pretty much the same as with old version of Rengar..
So for me, this update/rework doesn't change shit.

I dont get how they made my ap mains take 2 seconds to pop some mark while rengo still does this, in the same rework batch.
I don't think they should nerf his damage but nerf the uptime on his ultimate maybe and make leap distance scale with level? Late game his ultimate should have same CD as it does now though to be fair.

The idea of 1-2 seconds was given up on a while ago, lol. The rework aimed for 0.5 rather than 0.25 when fed. Which was reached in realistic scenarios.

Well, he is an assasin. I bet a fed Katarina could do that as well And to be fair, Rengar is pretty much useless in a teamfight and super squishy if focused.
